The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames wich if you get a ride in it you can see the vews of the entire city. Also known as the Millennium Wheel. The entire structure is 135 metres tall and the wheel has a diameter of 120 metres.
Standing approximately 309 metres (1,014ft) high, the Shard is currently the tallest building in the European Union. It is the second-tallest free-standing structure in the United Kingdom, after the concrete tower at the Emley Moor transmitting station. The glass-clad pyramidal tower has 72 habitable floors, with a viewing gallery and open-air observation deck on the 72nd floor, at a height of 244.3 metres (802 ft).

DESCRIPTION:
London is th capital city of the United Kingdom. It is the most populous city with a metropolitan area of over 13 million inhabitants that stands on the River Thames. The official language is English but London has a diverse range of people and cultures, and more than 300 languages are spoken within Greater London. It works with the pound (£).

London has a temperate climate. There are four distinct seasons although the weather can be unpredictable, with out-of-season storms, sunny spells, and even heatwaves. July is the hottest summer month, with an average temperature of 19°C, and January is the coldest winter month, with an average temperature of 7°C. Late autumn and winter are the wettest seasons but rain is possible in any season. The best time to visit the city is in July and August because the weather is warm.

London is an excellent place to watch cricket, the traditional summer game played throughout Britain. The cricket season lasts from April to September. It also has some of the world's best dedicated theatres for kids, as well as other fantastic venues which host children's shows throughout the year.
